Age related macular degeneration (ARMD) screening/ monitoring

This service is recommended to anyone who is displaying any of the symptoms related to ARMD or has any of the risk factors for the disease including a postive family history. Our ARMD Eye Service Exam includes all the comprehensive evaluations of our basic eye exam, with additional specialized techniques to screen for Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD). Beyond the standard tests, we use Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) to obtain detailed images of the macula, and perform Amsler grid testing to detect any distortions in your central vision.
