Standard Eye Appointment

This service is recommended to patient's who are requiring a routine check up and have a history of healthy eyes, no considerable risk factors and a negative family history of considerable eye diseases. During a standard eye appointment, our optician will begin with a medical history review, where we discuss your medical history, current medications, and any existing eye conditions. Next, a visual acuity test is conducted to measure the sharpness of your vision using an eye chart. This is followed by a binocular vision assessment to evaluate how well your eyes work together, ensuring a clear and comfortable view of the world. We then perform a refraction assessment to determine your precise prescription for glasses or contact lenses. An eye health evaluation is carried out using a slit lamp microscope to examine the structures of your eyes, and an Intraocular pressure measurement is done to screen for glaucoma. Finally, we conclude with a discussion and recommendations session, where we review our findings and discuss treatment or preventive care options, including helping you select the best glasses or contact lenses for your needs.
